We the Gandhian Society (GS) exist to promote the Gandhian Way of Life in the USA. We spread his message of Non-violence, Truth, Self-Discipline & Love, among the people of America. The Society has its central office in Edison New Jersey, in the heart of Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) where the Indian population is more than 1.5 mil. The office also has classrooms, a conference room and a non-profit merchandising store - where we promote and sell photographs, Khadi products and many more things. The Society also house a multi-language library of books about Gandhiji.
Our Core Mission
Spread the message of non-violence, eradicate discrimination and implement Gandhian methodology & philosophy to uplift humanity. Support all the Gandhian associations and organizations doing similar work around the world and spread awareness all across the U.S
Gandhian Society is a non-political, not-for-profit organization founded by Sri Bhadra Butala, who carries Gandhiji within their head, heart and action. Objective of Gandhian Society is to spread Gandhian philosophy all across the globe. We believe that Gandhiji has the solutions for the problems of the world. The true vision of Gandhian Society is to take the thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi to the youth, raise awareness towards the non violence approach and bring the change by being the change.
